MENA Innovation Academy, a Bahrain FinTech Bay initiative in partnership with Reboot Coding Institute, has opened registration for its upcoming Applied Design Thinking workshop. The two-day event, held in collaboration with Qubstudio, will take place in Bahrain on 27 and 28 August 2025.
The workshop is tailored for product managers, startup founders, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and innovation teams. Participants will learn how to apply design thinking principles to develop user-centred solutions, with practical techniques drawn from leading global companies such as Google, Apple and IBM.
Lisa Kukharska, Senior Product Designer at Qubstudio, said, “Design thinking is a mindset. We have seen how applying this framework can generate creative ideas even in the most traditional industries.”
Participants will work through the five key stages of design thinking and take part in a live challenge focused on the banking sector. The programme combines expert instruction with team-based exercises and live feedback. A certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the course.
