UAE: 1,810 new cases; 1,652 recoveries announced
The Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 2,112 COVID-19 after conducting 242,415 additional tests over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 483,747.
The ministry said that 2 virus-infected patients had passed away, raising the overall death toll to 1,531since the outbreak of the pandemic in the UAE.
No information was provided on the ages of those who died or if they suffered any pre-conditions.
It announced that 2,191 infected people had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 468,456.
