The Ministry of Commerce announced it has recalled 13,763 car magnetic telephone holders with a 360-degree rotation feature. The recall was issued because these products are designed to be mounted in the center of the steering wheel, which conflicts with airbag warnings in the vehicle owner’s manual. In the event of an airbag deployment, the product could be forcefully pushed towards the passenger, potentially resulting in serious injury or death. The ministry urged users to immediately stop using these products, return them to the seller, and receive a full refund. Recalled products can be verified through the defective product recall center website.
