Kuwait reports 521 coronavirus cases, 722 recoveries

The Kuwait health ministry on Saturday reported 521 new cases of the covid-19 coronavirus, along with 722 recoveries. One death was also reported.

This takes the total reported cases in the country to 99,049, while recoveries stand at 89,498. The death toll has now risen to 581.

There are 8,970 active cases in the country, of which 96 are in serious condition.

More than 3,545 new Covid-19 tests were conducted in the country, the ministry said, taking the total to over 705,029 tests.
