No Coronavirus in Bahrain; Ministry Calls Out Fake News

The Ministry of Health declared the Kingdom of Bahrain free of the novel coronavirus. It refuted the allegations which were published in a local newspaper claiming two students who returned from the city of Wuhan China, had been diagnosed with the virus.

The ministry urged the public to seek accurate information from official sources. It is monitoring the developments of the disease, adding that it has taken preventive measures, including screening at entry border points.

The ministry has also allocated hotline 17246769 round the clock to reply to the queries of citizens and residents regarding the novel coronavirus.
