The latest smartphone – Nokia 8 – was launched in the Middle East on Monday. The Finnish company HMD Global, which owns the rights to sell Nokia-branded phones and tablets for 10 years, launched its first flagship gear.
The 5.3 inches Quad High Definition (1440 x 2560 pixels) Nokia 8 is powered by octa-core 2.45GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage capacity. The microSD card supports up to 256GB.
With this latest launch, the company capitalizes on the erstwhile king of mobile phone brands from Finland to enter the highly competitive smartphone market. The device will be available after next three weeks in Saudi Arabia and the UAE and priced at Dh1,699.
