Oman: 27 arrested for violating work and residence laws

Over 25 expats have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for attempting to leave the country illegally.

The ROP said that coast guard boats led by North Al Batinah Governorate Police arrested the violators on a smuggling boat while trying to leave the country. Legal procedures against them have been taken.
