Students in grades one, four, five, nine, and eleven, will return to school and adopt the blended learning model from January 17, according to a decision issued by the Ministry of Education.
The Minister issued a decision defining the mechanism for the gradual return of school students according to the blended education system.
The decision stated: “The mechanism for returning students to schools will have in the first phase students of 1,4,5,9,and 11 grades.” The Ministry noted that the continuation and expansion to other grades is subject to evaluation according to the developments of the epidemiological situation and the decisions of the Supreme Committee.
“The specialists must abide by all the precautionary measures, procedures and controls that were mentioned in Ministerial Resolution No. 176/2020 to approve the rules and regulations for operating schools,” the decision further said.
