Oman: Central Market of fruits and vegetables to reopen soon
Muscat Municipality, taking necessary precautions, has decided to reopen the Central Market of fruits and vegetables from Tuesday, 5th January 2021.
A statement issued online by Muscat Municipality said, “According to the regulatory procedures and health that are decided by the Supreme Committee in charge to deal with COVID-19, it has been decided to reopen the Central Market of fruits and vegetables for consumers starting on Tuesday, 5th January 2021.”
The statement completed that the time of opening the market for consumers will be from 1 pm to 6 pm and the time of opening the market for wholesalers will be from 5 am to 11 am.
“With the importance of alerting the market-goers to take all means of self-protection from coronavirus and the necessity of physical distance, wearing masks, using sterilizers and commitment of health conditions applicable of them when visiting the market,” the statement added
