Oman closes all public beaches and parks

Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has instructed all hotel establishments to only allow 50 per cent visitors to its restaurants, cafes and gyms starting from Friday until further notice, local media reported.

The move comes after the Supreme Committee imposed several restrictions in the wake of rising coronavirus cases in the country.

The Ministry also urged hotels not to allow guests to use beaches. The committee directed to close all public beaches and parks.
