Oman: Coronavirus infections slow down to 36 new cases today

Oman Saturday recorded 36 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Saturday, a day after the sultanate reported 99 infections of the virus.

The newly diagnosed cases comprise 22 Omanis and 14 foreigners, the Health Ministry said without giving a breakdown of the foreign patients’ nationalities, according to Oman’s news agency ONA.

The new cases bring to 2,483 the total of the COVID-19 infections including 11 deaths registered in Oman, the ministry added.

The overall recoveries in the country have climbed to 750 cases, the ministry said.
