Oman: Five arrested for drug possession, trafficking

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested five individuals for possessing narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking and abuse.

The General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances seized 50.11 kgs of hashish, 13,262 kgs of crystal meth, 8 kgs of morphine and 3,906 tablets of psychotropic substances.

The legal procedures against them are being completed, according to the ROP.
