Oman: Interval for receiving COVID-19 booster dose shortened

The time period for taking the booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine has been reduced from eight months to six months in Oman.

“The Ministry of Health would like to emphasise the continuity of giving the booster dose and the third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine (Pfizer – BioNTech) to the target groups, regardless of the type of vaccine the person received previously. The ministry would also like to announce that the time period for taking the booster dose will be reduced from eight months to six months from the date of receiving the last dose,” MOH said in a statement.
