Oman launches ‘skills passport’ for employment trainees

Employment trainees funded by the Ministry of Labour will receive a ‘skills and capabilities’ passport to distinguish them in the job market.

The skills and capabilities passport promotes lifelong learning for trainees by allowing them to track their progress throughout their learning journey, the ministry said.

The passport is documented and verified by the training providers and companies and the trainees can continue to use the passport throughout their learning experience.
