Oman: Number of fishery factories increases

The number of fisheries factories in the Sultanate of Oman has crossed more than 100 till the end of 2021, compared to 97 factories till the end of 2020.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources reveals that the number of existing fisheries factories in the Sultanate of Oman until the end of 2021 amounted to about 105 factories, compared to 97 factories until the end of 2020. The number of factories that have obtained fish quality control certificates and licenses for export reached 64.
