Oman on Thursday has recorded 14 deaths in the last 24 hours – the highest since October 27, 2020, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
No information was provided on the ages of those who died or if they suffered any pre-existing conditions.
Statistics made available on Tarassud showed that the number of those hospitalized in the past 24 hours reached 103, and 267 patients were admitted to ICU, bringing the total number of admitted patients to 786 cases, which is the highest since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Sultanate also recorded 14 deaths during the past 24 hours and 1,035 new Covid-19 cases.
The Ministry stated that the total number of registered cases in the Sultanate is 176,668. There are 156,845 total recoveries and 1,821 total deaths.
