Oman Registers Sixth Case of Coronavirus

The number of people infected with coronavirus has increased to six in Oman, Health Ministry said Thursday.

Oman news agency quoted health ministry as saying the new cases are related to people who were traveling to Iran, but are now put in-home quarantine. The ministry added that all cases are in stable conditions and no reports of deaths.

The Ministry of Education has ruled out the possibility of closing schools due to fears of coronavirus outbreak.

Citizens and expatriates who feel they might have symptoms of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) are requested to follow the instructions listed by Oman’s Ministry of Health to find out if they do actually have the disease, as well as what to do to stop it from worsening.
