The Ministry of Health has registered 1,083 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Saturday.
Among those, 297 new cases were of expats and 786 of Omanis.
The total cases in the country has now touched 54,697, including 35,255 recoveries and 248 deaths, according to MOH.
The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
