Kuwait has confirmed 846 new COVID-19 infections, raising the total to 170,036 cases, while the death toll stands at 964.
The number of people hospitalised with the virus currently stands at 7,979, with 70 in intensive care, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad.
A total of 539 infected patients had recovered from the virus, raising the overall tally to 161,093. The health authorities conducted 10,651 swab tests, bringing the overall number to 1,590,032.
