Oman seizes over 400 kg of shrimp

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has seized more than 400  kg of shrimp prepared for sale during the fishing and trading ban season.

“The fisheries control team in Muscat Governorate was able to seize 420 kg of shrimp prepared for sale during the fishing and trading ban season, which starts from December 1 to August 31, with the exception of farmed and imported shrimp. The shrimp were confiscated and legal procedures were completed,” Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said in a statement.
