Oman: Temperature to reach 44 degrees in some places
The highest temperature expected today in the Governorate of Al Wusta is 44 degrees with chances of rain in the Governorate of Dhofar, Oman Meteorology said.
Oman Meteorology said: “Clear to partly cloudy skies over Dhofar governorate with a chance of isolated rain. Mainly clear skies over the rest of the Sultanate with chances of cloud formation over Al Hajar Mountains during the afternoon and low-level clouds along with the coastal areas of Arabian Sea in the night to early morning is to be expected.”
In addition, along the coastal areas of Oman Sea wind will be northeasterly light to moderate during the day becoming variable light at night, and over the rest of the Sultanate, it will be southwesterly light to moderate occasionally fresh along Arabian Sea coasts.
A maximum temperature of 43 degrees in Wilayat of Seeb and Adam, and the lowest temperature of 27 degrees in Jabal Samhan is to be expected.
