Oman to open land borders from October 1

Oman will reopen land borders starting ‪from October 1‬, a top government official informed. 

Speaking exclusively to Times of Oman, a senior official said both citizens and residents can both enter and exit the Sultanate using the land ports. “Land ports will be opened from ‪October 1, 2020‬, for the entry of residents and citizens from the Sultanate and exit as well,” official said. 

However, “they will have to do a PCR examination, and a commitment to quarantine for a period of 14 days,” he added.
