Plane Crash in Iran Kills Everyone on Board

A Ukrainian plane carrying 176 passengers and crew has crashed near the airport in Tehran due to technical issues. Everyone aboard the Boeing 737 including the crew was killed. Ukrainian 737-800  took off in the morning and stopped sending signals after 8 minutes of take-off. It came down shortly after it departed from Imam Khomeini International Airport in the Iranian capital. 

According to reports, the plane was already on fire before it crashed and exploded.  Engine failure is said to be the reason for the crash. Rescue operations could not be carried out efficiently as the fire was heavy leading to the death of everyone on board.

The Ukraine International Airlines jet that crashed this morning was less than four years old. More information is being gathered and investigations are being carried out to resolve the cause of the crash.
