Qatar registers 287 new coronavirus cases

Qatar on Thursday announced 287 new coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 110,973.

No new fatalities reported today, keeping the country’s death tally at 178, according to the latest coronavirus update from the Ministry of Public Health.

The ministry also announced 292 new recoveries in the last 24 hours, shooting up the total number of recovered cases to 108,831.

Additional 2,921 PCR tests for COVID-19 were conducted over the past 24 hours, pushing the total number of people tested to 511,000.

There are 3,083 active cases, including 394 critical and 77 serious cases under intensive care.
