Qatar reports 267 new coronavirus cases
Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health has announced the detection of 267 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, taking to 112,650 the total number of infections in the country.
As many as 296 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 109,438.
In addition, two patients aged 65 and 70, died, pushing the country’s death toll to 182.
All new cases have been introduced to isolation and are receiving necessary care according to their health status.
The ministry noted that measures to tackle COVID-19 in Qatar have succeeded in flattening the curve and limiting the spread of the virus and the number of new daily cases and hospital admissions is continuing to decline each week.
