Qatar reports 427 new coronavirus cases and 1 death

The daily tally of COVID-19 cases has continued to rise in Qatar, with 427 new infections reported today. This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 154,525.

One person has succumbed to complications caused by the virus in the past 24 hours, taking death toll at 251. According to the ministry’s latest update, 123 patients have fully recovered, pushing the total number of people recovered across the country to 147,033.

With the rise in the daily detected infections, the active cases today climbed to 7,241, including 570 stable cases under treatment and 63 are critical cases under intensive care.
