The Qatari Ministry of Defence announced the successful interception by air defences of a missile attack targeting Al Udeid Air Base, with no casualties reported.
According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the ministry confirmed that the vigilance of the armed forces and the precautionary measures taken contributed to preventing injuries or damage as a result of the incident. It emphasised that the airspace and territory of the State of Qatar are safe, and that the armed forces remain fully prepared to confront any threats.
The ministry also urged citizens and residents to adhere to official guidance and follow updates from reliable sources.
