Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport: Yes, They Can!

Gulf Insider visits Radisson Hotel Group’s 25th property in Saudi Arabia, near King Khalid International Airport.

Located only five kilometres away from the King Khalid International Airport and 25 minutes away from the city center, the Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport is a truly luxurious airport hotel with a convenient location for business and leisure travel. Gulf Insider recently paid a visit to the brand-new property and uncovered its lavish features as well as its mix of rooms, duplex suites, and villas.

I was very warmly welcomed by the property’s friendly manager, Ahmed, who guided me to my room and assured me that anything I required would be taken care of. Many Saudi nationals worked at the hotel, which was really nice to see. I was pleasantly surprised by the property’s impressive amount of space as I was chauffeured to my room on a buggy; it gave me a resort-like feel.

My room was very spacious and well decorated. It had everything I would need including a good quality espresso machine – something I look for in every hotel I visit. The balcony was wide and offered lots of space to enjoy my morning coffee. It’s a perfect spot to relax during that time of year. It was also really nice to walk around the compound which resembled a beautiful village. I had a very good night sleep on my super comfortable bed, and the rain-showers in the bathroom was excellent. In addition to this, the hotel has three outdoor pools, two indoor pools, a separate ladies and men fitness studio, and a spa.

The family villas are equipped with their own private pool, separate living area, dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Spread over three floors, they are ideal for large families and those planning an extended stay or looking for extra space.

For dining, they feature two options offering both international and Arabic dishes. The “Super Breakfast” on the terrace of Lune, was wonderful. Guests can enjoy an all-day dining from the extensive à la carte lunch and dinner menu. Kasbah Café on the ground floor offers a variety of light international dishes and shisha on the pergola terrace.

Overall, the Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport is an all-round solid property for both business and leisure. From a business perspective, this might be one of the best hotels to stay at in Riyadh. There are 11 meeting rooms with state-of-the-art technology and a soon to open auditorium spanning over 1,800 square meters. It’s also an ideal venue for large events such as weddings.

This is an exciting property that reflects Saudi Arabia’s rapid development.
