Relatives & Domestic Workers of Kuwaitis from Banned Countries Can Return

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced an addendum to the circular released earlier that highlights how Kuwaitis are permitted entry to the country at any time, even if they are arriving from the 31 countries currently on a ban list from entering Kuwait, as long as they can show a PCR certificate with a validity of 72 hours.

According to the circular, non-Kuwaiti arrival passengers who are a first-degree relative to a Kuwaiti national such as a father, mother, husband, Wife or filial (sons and daughters) are also granted permission to enter Kuwait, on the condition they have proof of their relationship. This also includes domestic workers accompanying the sponsor with a valid residency.

In the event of a sponsor’s death outside Kuwait, domestic workers are allowed to enter Kuwait, taking into consideration the conditions stated in the Circular No. (90/2020) issued on (04/08/2020).
