S.Korea 1st, Bahrain 5th in Maximum Cases of COVID-19 Per Capita

The current coronavirus statistics show 106,211 cases worldwide, with the fatality rate averaging between 2-3%.

Bahrain was earlier reported to have the highest number of cases per capita, which has now changed to the 5th place. South Korea now tops the list, with 139.1 cases per million people.

Lt. Col. Dr. Manaf Al Qahtani, Infectious Diseases Consultant & Microbiologist at the BDF Hospital and Member of the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (COVID-19), noted all active COVID-19 cases in Bahrain are related to arrivals from abroad or contacts of arrivals from abroad.
