A fire broke out in a residential home in Samaheej, leading to the death of a 23-year-old man who was rescued but later succumbed to suffocation while being transferred to the hospital.

Civil Defence teams acted quickly to evacuate seven individuals from the burning house. The National Ambulance attempted to provide medical aid, but the rescued man did not survive.

Authorities have taken the necessary legal measures, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
