Saudi: 2,199 ICU Beds Added to Hospitals in 90 Days
A total of extra 2,199 beds have been provided for intensive care units (ICUs) within three months, a statement from the Saudi ministry of health has said.
It said the additional beds have been added in various hospitals in all regions of the Kingdom as an extension of current continuous efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.
The ministry’s announcement comes as Saudi corona cases continue to be over 4,000 for the last couple of days after going down to about 3,200 last week.
