Saudi: 3,379 New Coronavirus Cases, 37 Deaths Recorded

Saudi Arabia reported 3,379 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 157,612, the Ministry of Health announced on Sunday (June 21).

Meanwhile, the ministry reported 2,213 recoveries today, with total recoveries in the kingdom at 101,130. With 2,027 in intensive care units.

The ministry also confirmed 37 deaths, taking the toll of dead in the Kingdom to 1,267.

Today, normal life in Saudi Arabia returned after 91 days of lockdown, which was imposed to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus across the kingdom, Saudi media reported.

The curfew was lifted at 6 am (local time) on Sunday.

However, restrictions will remain in force for religious pilgrimages, international travel and social gatherings of more than 50 people.
