Saudi: 551 new coronavirus cases, 28 deaths announced

An additional 28 people in Saudi Arabia have died of COVID-19-related conditions, authorities announced on Saturday.

The total number of deaths now stands at 4,458, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Tests have confirmed 551 new cases in the Kingdom, which means that 329,271 people have contracted the disease. Of those, 15,383 cases remain active, and 1,166 patients are in critical condition.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 309,430 after 1,078 more patients recovered from the virus.
