Saudi police have arrested six Syrian expatriates suspected of involvement in a series of burglaries in Riyadh, a security official has said.
The suspects had allegedly broken into offices of companies and light equipment stores and stole devices and cash worth SR280,000. They resold the stolen items after changing their features, spokesman for the Riyadh police Major Khalid Al Karidis said.
The six have been remanded to custody. Legal procedures have been taken against them before referral to public prosecution, the official said.
