Saudi: Airlines allowed to transport expats outside the Kingdom

The Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation today released a circular to all airlines in the Kingdom, including general aviation.

The circular stated that airlines are permitted to carry non-Saudi passengers outside the Kingdom. Foreign airlines are also allowed to operate flights for this purpose.

The airline crew, however, are not allowed to leave the aircraft and must not physically contact the ground/operation staff of the arrival airport.

The instructions do not include the countries where the new strain of COVID-19 has appeared, the circular added.
