Saudi announces 263 new cases of coronavirus

The Saudi Health Ministry said on Tuesday it recorded 263 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 11 new deaths. 

The new cases bring the number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom to 357,623 cases, including 4,540 active cases who are still receiving medical care.

Of these, there are 649 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest remains stable.

The new deaths put the tally of fatalities in Saudi Arabia from the virus at 5,907.

Meanwhile, the health ministry reported 374 recoveries, raising the Kingdom’s recovery toll to 347,176.

Elsewhere, the ministry confirmed that 46,372 new laboratory tests had been conducted over the past 24-hour across Saudi Arabia.
