Saudi announces first female coach for its first women’s football team

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) officially announced that former German football player Monika Staab has been assigned to coach Saudi Arabia’s first women’s soccer team in the history of the Kingdom.

The German coach is one of the pioneers in the development of women’s football around the world and enjoys wide diverse experiences in professional football, training national teams, managing clubs, and occupying high-level executive positions.
