Saudi Arabia: 244 facilities shut for violating Covid-19 measures

A total of 244 facilities across Saudi Arabia were shut for violating Covid-19 safety measures.

The municipality of Jeddah governorate and its sub-municipalities shut 183 facilities and issued 270 Covid-19 health protocol violations.

The municipality of the Eastern Province shut 61 commercial facilities and 484 violations were issued for non-compliance with the preventative measures.

Authorities urged people to help maintain public health by reporting any COVID-19 breaches to the 940 call center number.
