Saudi Arabia announces 987 coronavirus cases

The Saudi Ministry of Health confirmed 987 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 313,911 cases.

“These caseload includes 21,630 active cases which are still receiving medical treatment, of whom 1,555 are in critical condition”, said the ministry

In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), it announced that 27 infected patients had passed away due to health complications, bringing the death toll to 3,840. It added that 1,038 had recovered from the virus, raising the overall number of recoveries to 288, 441.
