Emirates Adds 5 A380s Ahead of Summer Travel Rush, Plans A350 Routes

Dubai’s Emirates is preparing for a summer travel rush by adding new planes and planning new debut flights for its upcoming A350 fleet.

Emirates expressed its optimism for the summer season in terms of the strong recovery with full occupancy rates on a large number of flights within its global network of destinations.

The Dubai-based international air carrier revealed that it is adding five new Airbus A380s to the summer flights schedule, to serve more routes amid the continuing momentum in customer demand after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Kazim said that Emirates is planning to debut flights to five new cities:

  • London
  • Christchurch
  • Sydney
  • Melbourne
  • Auckland

San Francisco (July 15), Singapore (June 1) and Houston (June 15) will also be added.
