Saudi extends Eid holiday by 1 week

Saudi Arabia has extended this year’s Islamic Eid Al-Fitr holiday by one week, Saudi Press Agency announced on Wednesday.

The announcement came as part of royal decrees which replaced Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef with Mohammed bin Salman, previously deputy crown prince.

Government employees to start the holiday season on Sunday 28th and are expected to resume on July 9 instead of July 1.
