The Saudi General Directorate of Passports has announced the visit visa period will be automatically extended for visitors inside the kingdom without any charge.
The Directorate clarified that visit visas for expatriates, which expired during the suspension of entry and exit from Saudi Arabia, were automatically extended for three months without any cost, in coordination with the National Information Center.
The move comes in line with the royal orders and aims to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on individuals.
Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia announced it will extend expatriate visas and residency permits for three months free of charge.
The decision aimed to support the kingdom’s efforts in mitigating the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on individuals, businesses, the private sector and investors, and on economic activities.
