Saudi Arabia is the fastest growing nations among G20 countries in terms of women’s participation and contribution to the labor market, according to a recent study.
Women comprise 20 percent of the workforce while men form 63 percent of the community. The future vision aims to increase women’s participation in and contribution to the labor market to 30 percent.
The study called for an initiative to increase the number of young women to enroll in specializations like sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics, so as to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
