Saudi Arabia: House workers to be recruited from 8 more countries
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has included eight more countries from Asia and Africa in the list of destinations for hiring house workers.
The number of licensed recruitment companies in the Kingdom has reached 43 companies while the number of total recruitment offices stood at 1,215 offices.
The decision was taken to diversify the nationalities of house workers in the Kingdom, leaving no room for some labour-exporting countries to put pressure on the Saudi recruitment market and raise the cost of hiring domestic help.
