Saudi Arabia reports 1,298 new COVID-19 cases, 13 deaths

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health on Friday reported 1,298 new COVID-19 cases and 13 deaths, taking the total number of infections to 507,423 and virus-related fatalities to 8,048.

There were 1,428 additional recoveries, raising the total number to 488,346.

Riyadh reported the highest number of new cases, followed by Makkah and the Eastern region.

According to the ministry, there were 11,029 active cases and 1,400 of them were in critical condition.
