Saudi Arabia reports 353 new COVID-19 cases, 7 deaths

Saudi Arabia’s ministry of health on Tuesday reported 353 new COVID-19 infections, and seven deaths due to complications caused by the virus.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 542,707 and the virus-related fatalities to 8,497.

According to the ministry, a total of 456 people recovered, raising the total number of recoveries to 529,833.

Riyadh reported the highest number of new cases with 72, followed by Makkah with 66, the Eastern region reported 41, and Jazan reported 34.

According to the ministry, there were 4,377 active cases and 1,108 of them were in critical condition.
