Saudi Arabia reports 83 new COVID-19 cases, 7 deaths

Saudi Arabia on Saturday announced 83 new COVID-19 infections and seven related deaths.

Of the new cases, 33 were recorded in Riyadh, 13 in Makkah, eight in Madinah, seven in the Eastern Province, four each in Jazan and Asir, two each in Najran, Tabuk, and Hail, and one each in Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, and Al-Baha.

The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 534,983 after 75 more patients recovered from the virus.

A total of 8,617 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.

Over 39.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the Kingdom to date
