Saudi Arabia sets up new 100-bed field hospital in Makkah
The Ministry of Health has set up a 100-bed field hospital to treat coronavirus cases in Makkah.
The hospital was set up in Kudai neighborhood, which is less than two kilometers from the densely populated undeveloped neighborhoods in Makkah.
The hospital runs with the support and equipment of the General Department of Medical Services at the Ministry of Defense, represented by the Armed Forces Hospitals Department in Taif. The hospital will be operated by trained medical staff from the Health Affairs Department in Makkah region.
The Makkah Health Department appreciated the support of the General Department of Medical Services at the Ministry of Defense for its efforts and quick response, to equip the field hospital.
