This operation underscores the heightened readiness of the Kingdom’s multi-layered air defence network.

The surge in activity included a direct drone strike against the US Embassy compound in the capital. “Initial estimates indicate that the attack was carried out by a drone and did not result in any damage,” the ministry said in a statement posted on X

Saudi Arabia Cabinet Issues Firm Warning

The escalation prompted an emergency Cabinet session on Tuesday night, chaired by HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. During the briefing, the Cabinet condemned what it termed blatant Iranian aggression and voiced unwavering solidarity with neighbouring Gulf states.

Official statements carried by the Saudi Press Agency emphasised that the Kingdom reserves the full right to respond to these provocations. The leadership highlighted that these persistent strikes target not only Saudi sovereignty but the stability of the global energy market and regional security frameworks.
